Kite Festival
Kite festival is also known as 'Uttarayan' and 'Makarsakranti' in the Gujarat. It is celebrated on 14th January in every year. Kite festival is most popular festival in the India, because children, youngsters and elders all are celebrates this festival. On the previous day of Uttarayan peoples are going to the market for buying Kites.
On the day of Uttarayan peoples are going to terrace of the building for fly the kites. When flying kite cut in the sky then peoples are shouting 'Kaypo chhe...Kaypo chhe!!!'. Some of the people use loud speakers for listening songs. The famous dish selling in the market of Gujarat is 'Undhiyu' and 'Fafda-Jalebi' on this day.
There are so many accident becomes in this day like birds are injured, children fall down on the building etc.
In the evening peoples are flying 'Tukkals' in the sky. Sky is looking beautiful when many Tukkals flying in the sky.
